Louise's Dance Story

Hi my name is Louise and I am 9 years old. This year I have a new partner, his name is Mark and we have new Cha Cha Cha and Samba routines. I danced with Mark for the first time at the class competition at Christmas.When I became Mark's partner I had to get a new ballroom dress. Last week my Mam ordered it and I can't wait for it to arrive. I also got new ballroom and latin shoes and my Mam put rhinestones on my ballroom shoes - they are really nice - I love them!I have had three partners since I started dancing three years ago. My first partner was Anna and we won the 2007 IDSF All Ireland Ballroom and Latin Under 8s Couples competition. My second partner was Jade, together we won the 2008 IDSF All Ireland Ballroom and Latin Juvenile Beginners 1 competition. Now I am dancing with Mark, I hope we can do as well.I am having so much fun in dancing, I hope more people come and join the class, its great.BYELouise (aged 9)

Mark's Dance Story

Hi my name is Mark and I am 9. My partners name is Louise and we have been dancing together since December 2008. We have just come home from the All Ireland Championships in Carlow, we did really well. We came 1st in beginner Ballroom & Latin and 2nd in Novice Ballroom & Latin. We have been to London for a for a dance competition. we have done really well in beginners. We are learning our 10 dance routines and hope to do 10 dance soon. I cant wait to learn my paso doble.  Mark (aged 9)

Aoife's Dance Story

Hi I'm Aoife. I started dancing with Laura O'Brien when I was six. I became interested in dancing when I saw Strictly Come Dancing and watching my sister dance in competitions, I decided to dance. I danced solo for a while and then I got Ellie as a partner.We danced in lots of competitions together and we got better and better. Then we started private lessons and we learned the Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Quick Step, Waltz and Jive. I love dancing with Ellie. She is very kind. She buys me everything.
